Hope has recently brought out a new set of XC brakes. The lightweight, sturdy and reliable brakes are the ultimate XC brakes. With a carbon lever blade and titanium hardware, combined with an XCR X2 calliper. 

The XCR is a two-piston brake designed for cross-country, down country and trail riding. Coming in at 199g claimed weight (excluding rotor) these are a serious competitor for XC brakes. 

The XCR lever is a new design where the master cylinder is perpendicular to the bar. This aids in saving weight and free’s up a bunch of space on the handlebars - making plenty of space for dropper levers, lockout levers and ejector seats, whilst also being compatible with SRAM and Shimano direct shifter mounts. 

Carbon is light, by having a carbon lever blade helps to save even more weight while the bar clamp uses a single-bolt with hinge for easier installation - saving even more weight.
